Passion Flower
Also known as
Passiflora incarnata, Passiflora caerulea, Apricot Vine, Blue and Purple Passionflower, and Maypop.

Passionflower is a climbing vine native to South Texas, Mexico, and Central America. Growing to a length of 30 feet (9 meters) under ideal conditions, the vine bears three-lobed leaves, purple flowers, and yellow-to-orange egg-shaped fruit. The name of the plant comes an analogy between the plant*s ornate flower to the elements of the crucifixion of Jesus, white and purple to symbolize heaven and purity, five stamens for the five wounds he suffered, three style for the three nails used to affix him to the cross. A Spanish doctor named Nicolas Monardes was the first to document the flower used in Peru in 1569, which he then brought back to Europe with him, where its popularity spread quite rapidly as a sedative. It was later classified by Linnaeus in 1745, when he noted over 20 species. Nowadays, there are reputably over 400 different species.

Chrysin, harmane, harmaline.

Parts Used
Dried leaves and stems. Passionflower powder must be stored at temperatures below 77 degrees F (25 degrees C), and should be used within six months of purchase.

Typical Preparations
Teas, tinctures and encapsulations. Sometimes found in relaxing bath blends and sleep pillow mixes.

Herbalists in Mexico, Central America, and Texas have used passionflower as a calmative and sleeping aid for over 200 years. Currently there is a German E monograph for passionflower citing its use as having sedative qualities.

Pregnant women should avoid passionflower, since it can stimulate uterine contractions. Safe dosages for children under 6 have not been established. Caution should be used buy those on other sedatives as passionflower may intensify the effects.

Herbal Uses Jan Title
Passion Flower Title
Passion flower is a gentle sedative and tranquilizer.  It relaxes twitching and muscle tension without impacting respiratory rate or psychological function the way many pharmaceutical sedatives do, making it a powerful herbal treatment.  It's balancing healing powers come from the plant's alkaloids and bioflavonoids, unique compounds that interact positively with the body's own methods to maintain mental and physical wellness and equilibrium.
Due to this, there are 6 primary health benefits of passionflower that we will outline.  Discover how harvesting and making use of the whole the plant * stalk, leaf, and bloom's provides relief for those in need.

1) Helps With Sleeping
Arguably the most common medicinal usage of passionflower tea or extracts would be to help alleviate insomnia, which is the persistent inability to fall asleep or remain asleep through the evening. More particularly, recent researchers have concluded that their findings imply low-dose usage of passionflower tea yields short-term subjective sleep benefits for adults with sleep issues.

2) Eases Pain
Due to the antispasmodic and sedative effects, physical pain is also relieved by passion flower in a myriad of ways. Try it for premenstrual cramps or to lessen headache pain. It could also alleviate muscle discomfort and toothaches. The popular book, "The Encyclopedia of Medicinal Plants" suggests passionflower notably for pain which causes difficulty falling asleep.

3) Helps With Stress and Anxiety

Passionflower is also generally used to fight nervousness, anxiety, and pressure. Furthermore, unlike the commonly prescribed drug oxazepam, passion flower doesn't cause drowsiness or deterioration of work performance the next day. Investigators have concluded that passionflower is powerful for the direction of generalized anxiety disorder, but large scale trials are required before specific recommendations can be made.

4) Anti Depressant and Menopause Relief
Individuals in one study had passion flower supplements every day for 6 months. Significant symptom development occurred by the 3rd week. Investigators concluded that passion flower might provide advantages for menopause in women who either cannot or decide not to utilize any sort of hormone replacement. The herb has also been shown to help boost the anti-depressant effects of St. John's Wort.

5) Drug Withdrawal
Passion flower further helps fight withdrawal symptoms from opiate medications like morphine. Furthermore, when passionflower was joined with drugs that control psychological withdrawal symptoms -- including stress and irritability -- the effects were better in comparison to the drug alone. The investigators concluded that passion flower extract might be successful within the direction of opiate withdrawal although larger studies must be conducted to affirm their results.

6) Helps to Lower Blood Pressure
In one study passion flower extract elevated degrees of an anti-oxidant enzyme and reduced degrees of oxidized lipids -- lipids broken from accumulated toxins and waste material. Investigators in that study administered doses of 8 milligrams daily for 5 days. The results of this show that taking the herb may help to lower high blood pressure.

Passion Flower Side Effects and Cautions

When used in moderation passionflower is normally regarded as non-toxic.
Many herbalists prescribe three to four cups per day with no issues reported.  As excessive sleepiness is reported, if you're already taking a prescription drug for stress or depression don't take passion flower.

Bleeding Passion flower extract can inhibit your body-s clotting elements.  Though this is sometimes advantageous to somebody with blood prone to forming blood clots, it's harmful to somebody with normal clotting and may bring about hemorrhaging.

Drowsiness Drowsiness is actually a standard complication of passion flower extract, based on '*Prescription for Natural Cures.' Lots of people experience excessive drowsiness and sluggishness for many hours after taking this herb, although some individuals use passion flower extract specifically to take care of their sleeplessness.  This side-effect could be mitigated by using passion flower extract at a lowered dosage with a tiny bit of food before you go to sleep.

Lastly, it should be stated that passion flower;s close relative, the blue passion flower, shouldn't be used because it doesn't have exactly the same functions as passion flower itself.

r health and your body, but it tastes good, too.

diamond light grid

Keeper of The Diamond Light Codes

There is no longer any doubt that we are in the midst of a major transition on our planet! This transition is impacting us all on every level - emotional, physical, mental and spiritual, and externally is being manifest as changes in every sphere of our life. Our social, political, environmental and financial systems are all breaking down so that we can establish a Higher order, a new way of being.

These changes are being promulgated by intense waves of cosmic energy coming at us through our sun from deep in our galaxy. We are all being 're-booted' in order to align with the Higher way of being which requires us as individuals and as a species to live more deeply from the heart. The so-called awakening is happening before our very eyes and we are all a vital part of this transformation.

The intensity of this new energy, along with changes in the electromagnetic stability of our own planet means that our personal energy fields are changing, and in fact NEED to change in order for us to align, access and utilise this highly charged, spiritual energy. This is where the DIAMOND LIGHT GRID takes on such an important role, and it is a vital aspect of the very evolution of our humanity.

The DIAMOND LIGHT GRID is a sacred architecture, a CRYSTALLINE MATRIX OF LIGHT that is restructuring our auric fields to take on the form of an octahedral diamond - 2 pyramids joined base to base. In the same way that many are describing new planetary grids (also known as paradise grids), so too is your personal energy field requiring an alignment to this form through the architecture of the diamond. The macrocosm is reflected in the microcosm and vice-versa. As above, so below. The DIAMOND grid network is reflected as a deep organising principle throughout the universe - from the way that galaxies cluster together, to the way that our DNA spirals in its perfected form.

Your personal Diamond Light Grid therefore, is your link to a Higher Level of Consciousness. At the symbolic level it represents a deep impulse to recognise our own perfection and true place in this universe. It is no mistake that the gem diamond is used to symbilise love, beauty, perfection and esteemed value. It represents our soul's attaiment of spiritual perfection and a deep connection with the Highest aspects of our being. You may find it interesting to note that the strength of the gem diamond - widely recognised as the hardest stone, is as a result of the internal arrangement of its atoms forming in an octahedral - cubic structure.

This same strength is what your DIAMOND LIGHT GRID brings to your energy fields, enabling you to hold and utilise far higher quantities of super-charged, high frequency energy. It also strengthens your emotional, mental and phsyical bodies providing you with the means at all levels to expand and evolve while holding your personal space with a greater degree of balance and authentic power. It is the vehicle for recalibrating you to your Highest expression and the energy of your soul. It is your conduit to Source and an embodiment of the heart of All that IS.

You are a part of this ever strengthening grid of light weaving its form across the planet. Take up your place as we reconnect humanity with its original diamond blueprint and co-create a more harmonious world. It all begins with us!

Happy 2016 everyone! Its hard to believe that 2015 is over - frankly, I couldn’t wait until it was over.  There was difficulty, elation, fun and a lot of growth this last year.  There was, as most of you know, a health scare that could have made a huge impact on my life - but everything turned out for the best!  Because of the positive outcome of that situation, I have been going ahead with some fabulous plans for the future!  I can’t tell you how excited I am to continue my business into the 26th year; its been the best of all possible worlds, and I truly love what I do!
